what exactly do you mean by co-signer?
We are a couple living together but only is unemployed

    Reply

      Hi Lori,

We define a co-signer as an individual (such as a parent, close family member or friend) who pledges to pay the rent if you are not able. You may still apply if either of you are unemployed.

or do you only require the head of house holds tax info?

We lost 2 incomes down to o zero.

      Hi Lou,

We request that the entire household provide their 2019 tax returns, not just the head of household. If a 2019 tax return is not available, we ask that you please sign an affidavit explaining the reason as well as include the 2018 tax return. Hope this helps!

I called the South bay Community services around 11AM This morning and one of your associates told me that only the head of house hold needed to turn in the 2019 tax returns. So i just turned the entire packet in at 4:30PM today I noticed you said that every one in the household had to turn in their 2019 Tax return. I need to add an affidavit now can i still turn the affidavit in even though I turned in the entire packet?
I wish the guy would have told me the right info instead of guessing we spent a lot of time putting that packet together.
