South Bay Community Services is made up of three distinct departments and has a staff of over 250 that serve more than 50,000 individuals and families annually in South San Diego County. We are committed to providing respectful services based on community needs and goals.
Family Wellness
From emergency shelters and transitional housing to family counseling and support, our Family Wellness and Self- Sufficiency Department staff is dedicated to helping families and individuals survive and overcome difficult situations. This department manages many of SBCS’ supportive housing for homeless families and those who have experienced domestic violence, and provides counseling, emergency food, and services that support self-sufficiency.
